Paroles / lyrics

Little Boy, his head in the clouds
His mum is sewing dirty shrouds
He dreams of being a strong fighter
To strike his enemy brother

But his short and bright future is written
‘Cause it’s a nuclear weapon made by men

A grim plane follows its odyssey
The atom bomb its prophecy
It will explode on the ground
The human target will be found

The energy of darkness in bloody hands
Created by a killer’s band
A majestic brightness in a mighty land
Lighting up the wild highlands

Gaïa, Gaïa

Gaïa watches these people dying
And can only cry
She goes into the plane
Needing to see his face

No guilty tears in his dark eyes
Arms raised toward the sky
She shouts and shouts again
A monster full of grace
And wrath

And she says :
Godzilla wake up, Godzilla aaa
Begin your chase
Godzilla get up, Godzilla aaa
Kill the human race

The verdict has been given
The goddess’ echo resonates, when suddenly, the Beast appears

And then :
Half whale, half gorilla
Comes to the fore
Straight from the Earth’s core
Half whale, half gorilla
Comes to the fore
With a spine-chilling roar

Little Boy, his burnt head on the ground
His mum is scattered all around
The fighter plane fleeing away
Leaving behind a nightmare day

Ginkgo feels Gaïa’s wrath
Is like the flood of Noah
His roots in the spirit world
The gateway to the underworld

He feels the anger of Gaïa
Nursing a new Messiah
Firebird, Majestic Firebird

Gingko says :
Look at the bird, he'll fly all round the world – Godzilla
Wait for my bird, he’ll listen with lofty care
To old nations that think they love the Earth
The Messiah’s return will show us how to pray - Godzilla
Then we’ll really know on judgment day
If the humans have to pay

Hey Hey, I can fly, I can feel the sun

My wings must be strong
To cross the sea
The trip will be long
I’ve conquered my fears

Look at the bird, he'll fly all round the world - Godzilla
Wait for my bird, he’ll listen with lofty care
To new nations that think they own the Earth
The Messiah’s return will show us how to pray - Godzilla
Then we’ll really know on judgment day
If it’s true that humans have to pay

Look at the bird, he'll fly all round the world Godzilla
Wait for my bird, he’ll listen with lofty care
To sages who know they're hosted by the Earth
The Messiah will come back on judgment day Godzilla
Then we’ll really know if the humans have to pay
And if it’s really the end

The salty tears flood
Under the black rains
And mingle with the blood
Flowing in our veins

Godzilla calms down and see
The breastmilk coming from the tree
He drinks it greedily
And falls asleep,
It's time to start the trip

Then The Gingko Biloba
Raw sap of Hiroshima
Sees arriving a Nâga
Called Vasuki,
The right-hand man of Gaïa

Vasuki, guardian of the Gaïa’s treasures,
Coming straight from mount Mandara,
Crawls through the souls of the dead with pleasure
He wraps himself around The Gingko Biloba
To smother him in case of the Messiah's failure

Gaïa looks at the bird rising high in the sky
Towards the seven Buddhas
They will help him to make the trip to the highest peak.

I’ll fly over the waves
I’ll listen to the slaves
I’ll talk to the corpse in the grave
I’ll ask the hidden beast in the cave

Gingko says :
Greet The Messiah, listen to The Messiah

Remember this divine day, to keep it holy

I’ll fly over the waves
I’ll listen to the slaves
I’ll talk to the corpse in the grave
I’ll ask the hidden beast in the cave

Greet The Messiah, listen to The Messiah

Remember this divine day, to keep it holy

(Yatto ochitsuita)

She looks away from the hopeful firebird
In the middle of a beautiful rainbow

(Yatto ochitsuita)

Now, I'm ready ! I'll be leaving soon
At the next full moon
Oh now, I'm ready ! I'll be leaving soon
At the next full moon
I would like to dry the tears of Gaïa
The Nâga waits for me, Godzilla sleeps deeply
I would like to save the world of Gaïa
While Ginkgo Biloba watches over me

Review
